After horrendous hosting issues, bad support, etc. I am back with a new host, and a new schedule. One easier to meet my hopeful posting goals… hopefully. The past has made it’s peace and the future is what i make it. Nevertheless, I’m here and hoping to do some good work.

2008. What can i say, a new year is hopeful isn’t it? This year maybe I’ll get “all city”, or write that book, travel more, or any of those plans i hope to someday get done.

This blog is mostly about art. I write, photograph, draw, paint, and generally try to enjoy the chaos of life rather than look down on it. I look at this blog as an informal area, protected by that lovely Internet anonymity. Objects are no good for me because I will certainly destroy, lose, or otherwise obliterate them. So I don’t plan on putting anything too good here, so don’t expect a whole lot. In fact, it’s probably best not to expect.

I have potential to be a great writer, but it’s finding those stories locked in me amongst all the detritus. This is relevant due to the fact this medium relies heavily upon words. Somewhere in the maze of old broken down houses that I imagine make up my mind, are stories. Each lives in it’s own room. Some are long winded and not fun to hang with, while others are quite short but never fail to entertain. Stick around and you’ll meet all sorts of characters.

Anyway, i also hope to meet some like minded people. Writers, photographers, poets, painters… all welcome and great, but… well, really nothing can beat a great peacefully drunken discussion with people who have an inkling of intelligence. Where I live though, well, that’s a special order everyone promises will be in next week that i am still hopeful for years later. A rare vinyl 45 of personality, atmosphere, and intelligence that is all to likely collecting dust, or more likely, being played and protected at this very moment in some warmer climate of my hopeful future travels or even residence.

Bear with me. I’m finding a theme for this software that doesn’t make me feel so predictable, and still doing all the exhausting setup. While you wait, you should fire up Wreckless Eric, the song is The Whole Wide World.
